Dr. Santillan appreciates how pediatric dentistry allows her to support a child’s health both right now and far into the future. She can help them feel safe at the dentist, relieve discomfort, and create a smile they’re proud to share. Over time, she loves watching her growing patients return with new stories, new interests, and new confidence. She looks forward to building that same lasting relationship with your family, and you can begin getting to know her below.
While volunteering at a Texas Mission of Mercy event as a Texas Tech student, Dr. Santillan saw how limited access to dental care deeply impacted low-income families. That experience inspired her to pursue dentistry. Her passion for connecting with children and seeing firsthand how early dental care can shape their lives, ultimately led her to specialize in pediatrics.
After earning her degree from Texas Tech University, Dr. Santillan completed her dental training at the Texas A&M College of Dentistry. She then did her specialty residency, which was devoted entirely to serving patients from infancy through adolescence. This hands-on experience helps her communicate effectively with children, support rapidly developing smiles, and care for young patients with a wide range of special needs.
Coming from Garland, TX, Dr. Santillan enjoys working out, tackling jigsaw puzzles, exploring new restaurants, binge-watching shows and movies, and spending time with her friends and family.
